A few words about the project...
The musical project "Contemporary Electronic Soundscapes" ("CES" in short) is run by users of Polish forum of classical electronic music "Studio Nagrań" (which means in Polish: "Recording Studio"). It is a non-commercial endeavor - it is just an expression of shared passion. It was established in 2006 and, with a small break, exists to this day.
The classical electronic music, as well as so-called "the new electronic", create a broad spectrum of styles. The idea of the project is to compare how musicians of various inspirations, sensibility, imagination and set of instruments would face the challenge of a single subject. There will be 1 or 2 releases every year. Each following edition of the project will be devoted to a different subject.
All the albums released are available free of charge under Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. You can listen to them online on Releases pages or on individual Artists pages (mid quality mp3 stream). They can be also downloaded as high quality mp3 files or full CD-DA images, including the full cover art set, on Download page or on Releases pages.
After listening to individual albums we invite you to leave your comments on them and to participate in surveys aimed at selecting the best songs from each album. We also encourage you to take part in the ongoing "Top of All Times" survey, where we choose absolutely the best works of all editions.
Detailed information related to the artists' involvement in the project as well as to the distribution rules can be found on the Rules page.
